Brake disc

Aluminium Carriage’s Marathon carts with aluminium frame have been praised everywhere for their stability, safety and driving comfort. Aluminium Carriage nevertheless keeps on innovating.

Some modifications have been applied to the existing carts, not all of them at a technical level, the aesthetics too have been paid attention to. The carts have acquired a new, modern look and are available in several flashy colour shades and combinations.

The brake system is composed of open brake discs and brake pliers with 4 pistons.

The benefits op an open brake disc:

• Less weight
• Dust and mud are quickly evacuated, no more dragging brakes
• Overheated brake discs have become a thing of the past too
• The brake pliers with 4 pistons (brake pliers of an engine) generate more brake pressure
• These brake pliers are made of aluminium and will never jam (rust). Hole-drilled plates are often used when manufacturing the frame to make the carts look modern and lighter.
